Senior's Mixed
Qualicum & District Senior Mixed League
The senior mixed league offers the most flexibility of all the leagues in the club .
It is day time curling for men and women 50 and over.
Usual format is Mon. and Wed. with draws each day at 9AM, 11AM and 1PM.
Teams are arranged and every effort is made to accommodate requested positions within the constraints of curling skill and balance between men and women. Couples are of course welcome and if so desired will be placed on the same team.
Each curler has the choice of curling one or both of the scheduled days.
The senior mixed league is a recreational league with emphasis on making the curling experience fun while developing skills and experience. As such it is an ideal entry for new or returning curlers. Our senior members are more than happy to offer advice and assistance to less experienced curlers.
Our curling calendar includes an open bonspiel, two closed mini-spiels, two alternative format games and a Christmas banquet.
